    10 Weekly Costco Haul Staples

    Costco is our favorite grocery store! I always have a weekly Costco haul to grab healthy staples. In addition to our weekly staples, I also cruise the aisles to see if there is anything else I “need”. I always leave with something that isn’t on the list. Who else is guilty? Eggs Eggs are a must have for us! We eat 5-6 eggs each day for breakfast in additional to using any for cooking. We prefer to buy pasture-raised eggs locally, but that’s not always an option. Sweet Potatoes Sweet potatoes are my favorite! I keep a batch of baked sweet potatoes in the fridge. This means I always have…

    Buttermilk Biscuits From Scratch {Recipe}

    Growing up in the south means I have eaten my fair share of buttermilk biscuits from scratch. It’s hard to beat my Grandma’s biscuits, followed closely by my Aunt’s. I don’t know about you, but asking my Grandma how to make biscuits involved phrases like “a little of this” and “a little of that.” That resulted in some failed attempts over the years. Before I continue you need to know, biscuits and sausage gravy are one of my husband’s favorite foods. We had many mediocre biscuits for years. Many of them were frozen or sadly, from a can. Finally, I was tired of having subpar biscuits. I craved that delicious,…
