How To Make Homemade Grilled Pizza
I had mentioned in my March favorites that we have been eating lots of grilled pizza. Our family loves pizza! We also love spending time outside. Anytime we can combine those two things and grill pizza is the perfect day! I’m sharing how to make homemade grilled pizza from dough to grill.
One thing we love about making homemade pizza is the ability to use fresh ingredients. We try to make pizza night somewhat healthy by using quality ingredients. Our current pizza of choice is a cheeseburger pizza. Our base is Rao’s marinara sauce, which is our favorite! We use grass-fed beef from a local farm, Dayspring Farm. We add organic mushrooms, organic spinach and organic kale. Then finally, top it with Kerrygold cheese, made with milk from grass-fed cows. It’s delicious!
This recipe will show you how to make dough from scratch and how easy it is to grill!
Some things I used when making grilled pizza were my KichenAid Mixer, Lodge Cast Iron Skillet and Weber Grill. All three of these things are staple cooking items I use weekly, if not daily!!
